Launched in 2019 after extensive consultation, the Strategy has seen significant progress, but there’s still work to be done. Together, we’ll evaluate our achievements and highlight priority areas for the future.

During this information session, the Compliance Services department from the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) will explain how it enforces Manitoba’s prohibition on employer suppression of WCB claims. We will provide a detailed overview of claim suppression and how the WCB is addressing claim suppression through investigation and proactive initiatives. Participants will learn about indicators of claim suppression and how to report suspected non-compliance to the WCB.
