The New MSD Prevention Guideline for Ontario has all the tools and resources you need to prevent them… in one place.
The MSD Prevention Guideline for Ontario is a free, web-based collection of up-to-date, easily accessible and usable tools and resources that were developed based on new applied research and best practices, and are specifically targeted to meet the needs of organizations of all shapes, sizes and industries. This Guideline is an evolution in MSD Prevention and is garnering recognition and attention from around the country and the world.
The Guideline continues to have new features and resources added, including most recently new videos and lay-person-friendly graphic resources, and soon to come, a Quick Start Guideline for Office Ergonomics.
Building on the foundation of the 2007 MSD Prevention Guideline for Ontario, the New Ontario MSD Prevention Guideline for Ontario, was developed by the Centre of Research Expertise for the Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders (CRE-MSD), and was launched in October 2018. CRE-MSD is planning a one-year follow up conference for October 2019 “Using Ontario’s New MSD Prevention Guideline to Empower Workplaces: A Year in Review”, which will include the opportunity for stakeholders to share experiences and successes with using the MSD Prevention Guideline resources, provide feedback and learn from and be inspired by one another.
